and for 64 bit: just download a vista x64 image and register with you key, vista and win 7 keys work with both 32 and 64 bit versions and it depends on cpu if its supported by am2, for example phenom II = am3 and supported by am2+ dunno if am2 too
Age doesent matter at all, i didnt get my first job in 3d until I was 32. The bipolar and autism also dont matter if they dont manifest in a way where people find you difficult to work with, but i wouldnt mention either in an interview if not asked.
Just thought I'd throw in a couple of links to the writing sub-forums over at Gamedev.net and TIGSource in case you were not aware of them. http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/forum.asp?forum_id=32 http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?board=44.0 Best of luck with your career goal.
Ack, you're right. Since the legs are 4 sided, the fur on the boots was only 32 tris. I ended up removing it though, because of design issues. With the fur on the bottms, it's around 600 tris, and 570 without it. That's the only differance on the mesh in the two shots. Nice catch
It's just bits.. You can even have something like (4 equal-sized channels) RGBA = 8bit + 8bit + 8bit + 8bit = 32 bit = 6bit + 6bit + 6bit + 5bit + 4bit + 4bit + 1bit (7 non-equal-sized channels). There is another example in:
been meaning to clean a multi pipe for orientation fer years, however all mah macros werk fine and keep me lazy. till that day... hope dis helps: cly_oriental.mel previews ( ps. use freeze transform or world space for default orientation reset ) //for a single edge selection whose orientation iz desiredglobal proc…
Not sure how you are going to get around that if it's based on a 32 bit hardware / os limitation. What's the issue with splitting up the mesh? If the border vertex weights match exactly, should be fine, no? You might be able to work on a single mesh and have a script split it up during export.
Hi, First post here on polycount. Was hoping to get some opinions and critiques on my 3d work. This was made entirely in zbrush 4 R2, With the exception of the lettering on the grip. (correction) 17Million points. 32 million polies. 35 subtools 3 days(on and off) Thanks in advance.
I'm watching this tutorial and when he adds a substance effect to a layer, there's an option for ID selection. I'm not seeing that option; was it removed? https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Pt7UeiZj-6s#t=752 Around the 12:32 mark is where he adds it...
