heres some inspiration for you... http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=121&t=39470 one of the coolest threads I have ever seen on tinternet. Its kinda old now but still very inspiring. Starts off saying he wants a job at Blizzard and ends with him saying he is working there
On second thought: (whois website) Organization: Jack Thompson Jack Thompson 1172 S. Dixie Hwy., Suite 111 Coral Gables, FL 33146 US Phone: 305-666-4366 Email: jackthompson@attbi.com Still very well could be faked information by someone. Highly illegal, but even so.
We spent a lot of time getting Bloodrayne's dress simulate well. The Dress model has about 130 exported bones and about half of them are simulated realtime. If you want a loopable cloth simulation you'll need to use bones with reactor or a script as Fat said. Or you could just animate it.
http://www.jaggedalliance.com/index.php?id=35&tx_mmforum_pi1[action]=list_post&tx_mmforum_pi1[tid]=101&tx_mmforum_pi1[page]=11 Second post down. It's apparently the same system used in Brigade E7 which I have yet to play. Like I said, might be ok, but not quite what we hoped for.
Another update! Enemy #2: A Terror Turnip. Managed to get it down to 134 triangles, which I think is pretty good for something round :) So far I'm enjoying low poly and low detail hand painting, goes quick, which is great for One Game A Month projects :D
I believe you'r kind of missing the point here. Welcome to "How to make a women in to an object 101" The little respect I had for Overkill, which wasn't the highest to start with, is gone. I shouldn't burn bridges and what not, but I would never for the life of me work for them, this just adds to it.
The problem with the solution above is that if you want to edit the model later on its going to be really difficult. We are having a discussion about this in the modeling shapes thread. Basically read what Perna has posted on the last 4-5 pages. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56014&page=133
Cath, did you read the help/watch the 101 video? It says how you deal with image buttons, once loaded, left click to en/disable a texture. Your strange normalmap I have no idea honestly. Maybe you could pass me the file? Email's l.corijn at gmail.com
