The mesh looks good, even prefer your cannons to the concept one. Just one thing I thought about, what is the actual sense of it opening ? it could aswell just shoot through holes in the shell. It could have some spotlights under the cover showing up left and right, that would look good id say.
Some more work! Like I said above, I figured I'd go with a "how the jinx stole Christmas" vibe, and so I thought I'd try my hand at an alternate skin for the loose cannon. I tried to stick pretty close to her original design (cause I absolutely love it), but with an XMas twist.
Stuff looks great but it really lacks in detail. I know it should be like that, but it's just bland. Unless you have some seriously awesome lighting in your maps, things will look fairly flat. Perhaps you could add engravings of sorts? Like those fancy curl patterns, like on the Spy's cannon pistol.

Yeah... forget a Lamborghini... pull up in your Cannon packing Tri' and wow the ladies. Some ideas... You could sell the weight of the weapons by making the tissue around the feet more compressed and bulged, and tighten up some of the muscles to look like he is really lugging those blasters. And perhaps some fluffy dice…

is it me or does the cannon itself look somewhat on the short end? also are the tracks exposed on the top or is that something else that jsut happens to look like the tracks, i just cant wrap my mind around why they would be exposed like that - other then that i think this looks great, also looking forward to the bake…
