Can you post your setup (i.e exit gamemode)? I'm reading through the documentation and it says the bounced lights are based on static spot lights. Have you moved them as well? Then bake it.
I was thinking... You could have a look at the newest DooM's snap map editor. you can do some pretty impressive levels/gamemodes with it. It's like visual scripting/programming and you have AAA assets to build something that looks cool.
Braid did the same thing with the hidden star puzzles, it's actually pretty common to do, with games having easter eggs, extra bosses, new game+, unlockable gamemodes and such. I dont really see how anything you said refuted the claims that the reviewers made.
Must agree on the graphic being kinda bad, but thats mainly on PS3, the XBox and PC graphic is much better compared for some reason. The funniest gamemode in MP imo is Stick & stones, there is so many fun moment where people run around and keep missing shots. ;)

okay I figured it out. Drag in an ARCH VIS CHARACTER then set it as your pawn for the firstpersonshooter gamemode. Change camera height to 54 units and change capsule radius to 10 units.
