Oh man that Shot with explosions and Cloak looks sweat, is it hand-animated by each bone in that cloak , or some kind of bone-cloth baked simulation? i'm beginner)
I like the idea but it would probably show for cloaked spies. Maybe some kind of polycount hat or model, like on the party servers. They should cloak with spies.
I thought about it, it would probably be easier for the static/holo effect, but for the cloaking, the shader the cloaking pattern actually wraps around the geometry so it would be incredibly painful to do that in post I would think.
So what is the word on single sided cloaks/capes? I see many characters with single sided capes and cloaks but I don't know if the policies have changed lately or if Valve favors one over the other. Any idea on this? Cheers, Eduardo
I like the way she looks. Silhouette might appears plain from the back view, but that can't be helped with a cloak. Though you can pose her and pose her cloak too, so it should be great nonetheless! Quick questions; how the breakdown of lowpoly for her ?
