Finally started texturing. The total number of triangles came to 1278. Yes, Iwas using Global illumination, I thought it looked better. Here the model is lit with three lights instead. ***image removed*** -

you could do that yeah. Writing a global shader for the scene that uses direction vectors and that kind of effect along time of day would do it. -

I can't use a surface shader because the skybox would block the procedural environment sky I'm using for the final gather/global illumination. -
