I graduated in scientific illustration in 1996 (or it might have been '97), not sure now. I did an animation of a flower for one of my final projects, but win 95 crashed as the moderator was coming round:)

Hello, do you have any sugestions on how to do to apture grass textures to make grass patcges , flower beds etc in a game ? I mean technically strip out grass of soil or else ? Take pictures how and at what distance ? Etc ? Thankyou.
Good skinning requires good mesh topology and smooth blending between the joints. Unfortunately, your screenshot doesn't show the topology or the weighting of the area in question. That's a great idea, I think I will do some flowers for the empty patches and some ferns for under the trees. Hopefully I can get some more progress up soon :D
