@ambershee according to the site debugger on my browser the whole site loaded in 1.1 seconds which is pretty good for a site with so many high res images, also in that site you don't have to actively browse and click threw to different pages so that is a 1 time loading time.
Cheers Dfacto! So Briggsy just dropped a comment letting me know he has linked my tool from huevaluechroma.com. This is one of the most validating things i have seen yet and i have a crazy amount of respect for this man's knowledge, http://www.huevaluechroma.com/101.php
[ QUOTE ] I'd have to agree its the best title mankind has ever created. [/ QUOTE ] Samuel L. Jackson also agrees. Apparently he signed on to do the movie solely because of the title, and when they wanted to change it to "Flight 121," Sam Jackson fought to keep it "Snakes on a Plane" .
After viewing the free sparks tutorial, I've purchased the guide too. It would be really nice if the file was split in smaller files. I'm downloading it for the third time. First time the download stopped at 500 MB , second time at 1.1 GB. Hoping the third try will be the last one!
It's more about cost and practicality. Sixaxis wasn't expensive, and Move wasn't either (heck, you can get the full Wonderbook setup for £30). Kinect was £130 and is now not much cheaper (£100). It's an expensive piece of hardware that a lot of people have no interest in, and therefore don't want to pay for.
I had a quick go, I think it's going to take a bit of time to get completely used to the game. I found this guide here http://www.fpsadmin.com/download/details.php?file=113 that gives more info on classes etc, worth a quick read as the game is not as simple as BF2.

August has passed so fast and I still have so much to do. ( I'm finally done with retopology and baking normals/ao. Here's the result, about 13k tris and 2048 maps. I'm going to post some comments later. Is it ok posting after month has passed?
I got one of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153133&cm_re=usb_sata_hard_drive_adapter-_-17-153-133-_-Product It makes any SATA drive into an external drive. I've rescued lots of data with this. It's been working great for about 2 years now. (I have the USB 2 version.)
I've been looking for a tutorial or information on how to bake a curvature map for high poly assets and can't find anything. All that I read is that you either need a NM to work the AO, curvature, etc.. from. Also, would you consider 13k high poly? It's a wall/prop piece.
