So I made this hoodie, and most of it looks fine, expect the strings. For some reason they "float" rather than rest on the body. When I turned to Collision Thickness to 0, the strings got a bit closer to the fabric, but still not resting properly on the body. How do I make it behave properly?
So I've been stuck on a business trip for 3 weeks and haven't had a chance to sculpt anything in Zbrush. Decided it was a good chance to try out hard surface modeling in Maya and clothing simulation in Marvelous. I reused the base model from a previous project I scrapped, for now atleast.
Hi, everyone! I'm new on polycount. Growing up Spiderman was and is one of my favorite marvel characters so I thought I'd try my hand at sculpting him. Any and all feedback is welcome! This is a retopo'ed base mesh in zbrush after I sculpted the high res.
Starting a new character. Working on improving my skills with realistic realtime characters. Going to be learning Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, and real time hair workflows as my focus. I will be working based on a concept by Devon Cady Lee. I have blocked in the anatomy and the face for now. Crits are welcome!
Hey everyone, I've been working on some WW2 era uniforms. Been using Marvelous Designer, Modo and Substance Painter for this. I'm fairly new to Character Art so I'd appreciate feedback / Critique :) British Commando https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhBhV9CkRc8 Parka Uniform Greatcoat
Hi everyone. Its my first time on here. I'm determined to improve my sculpts and I'd love some feedback on where to go from here. The first thing I think it to improve cloth with more reference or maybe Marvelous in the future. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Wow, that was great, you've mentioned so many good point and now I know the benefits of good and professional comments. thank you very much. about folds, I used marvelous but I completely relied on it not the references. thank you again
Companies have and will issue cease and desist orders to people using their IP. Even non-commercially. This is at the discretion of the company of course. Marvel is one company I know who have taken people to court over copyright infringments that weren't for commercial products.
If they worked like previous GTAs (even IV) they modelled a big big terrain and split it into parts, placed ingame at the right place later. Next everything get streamed in/out depending on distance around player like Ott marvelous picture says. =)
Mood and the ambience is marvellous. I do like the hulking main tree but it looks a bit "rounded". In the references, there's usually fewer short small branches and the long main brances are more pronounced and have sharper angles and twists. This helps with the silhouette i think.
