@stororokw There's gotta be a way to do get the"alpha map from frame buffer" with what I have. I've got Knald, toolbag 3, and Maya. No vray or Max that I can rely on. I'm at a loss ><. Maybe there's a way to blend the maps in PS from the bakes I get.
lol okay, ill give it a shot. I certainly dont mind reworking him a bit. Ill post up a new one before long =) thx for the tip man. ps. this is my first character ive textured, so any more tips id greatly appreciate!
yeah, i think you're right on all counts. looked better at 5:30 this morning here are the promised shots at 100% self-illumination: about the peachyness... any tips on how to bring it back to a more pinker tone... my attempts in ps muddies it all a monochromatic mess.
I can't wait for this movie, when I saw the trailer for the first one I swore I would never pay to see it but then I picked it up on DVD and was sucked in! I must have watched it like 20 times already. Marcus Dublin PS: Bloodrayne sucks a$$!
I really like the shape but I don't know. I'd probably like it even more if the front and back wasn't darker than the middle part. Just a thought. Maybe it's the alcohol affecting me. Could just be a light thing? PS: Red and yellow version too please! :)
You can fix the wave in PS really fast using the smudge tool or free transform...that being said, you will get the least amount of waves, when the height segments of your cylinder in the lowpoly and its cage are on the same height....that way the rays hit the highpoly perpendicular and not at an angle...
Hi Ben, I havent been on the boards in a few months .. what do you mean your oblivion art? Did / do you work for Bethesda? Or is this for a mod/plugin? PS the link for the girl statue is has the http on there twice and therefore does not work. looks great btw
Looking good man, does seem like his arms a we bit long, I would do a paint over but im about to go somewhere, if no ones made one by the time I get back I'll make one, ps: Amazing anatomy man, absolutely stunning.
thanks! new concept: i think my postures/silhouettes are getting slightly better. looking at pic from post #41 i've been drawing feet with a weird perspective distortion. ps: which boot design looks cooler? i mean left (bolts) or right boot (no bolts).
Thanks stev, to be honest the normal smoothing was at 0 so maybe the overall albedo is killing the normal. I consider maybe strenghening it in ps, will see how it goes. anyway here is some lighting tweaks, since im overseas for two week i dont have much time to work on it !
