Not trying to be rude or anything but you should reallly look into getting a better image host, having to click out of a pop up every time I click a thumbnail here is kind of annoying. Speaking of which....*goes to download Opera* PS: Your work is great.
Oooh Automator looks interesting, too bad its Mac-only. Here's a related resource, a PS scripting forum with lots of free Actions and Scripts. http://www.ps-scripts.com/bb Got some good help there recently for an Action script I was trying to make.
if your just practicing modeling, lets start with something a bit easier. You are gonna go nuts tryin to make all that detail, specially the characters in there. ps. the swirly thing you have made doesnt dead end, it flows into the next swirly thing on the edges.
This was done using the "sculpt using map" function in mudbox. Next stage is to get the icicles into modo cut them out individually and mirror (will probably be an ass to do) for a full model of an icicel. I will doing more tightly clustered icicles but it requires a lot of PS work. Cheers
Hovewer, just extruding edges automatically creates doubled faces... This software is making me mad... PS - Started all over again, still the same problem. Even if everything is alright, extruding edge by 0/0 creates overlaping faces all of a suden. Any solution for this ? :#
I have Photoshop CS6 and Max 2013 I think.. that sounds awesome for PS, can I load a mesh into the 3D view? Thanks for the Substance Painter tip! Going to look that up now, would you recommend it as being as extensive as Photoshop for its 2D capabilities?
Coming back to the "moresharknudity"-thing (@RocketBryan), these smaller Back-Fins can show the more Fish-Side of the Character. At the sides of the Belly, but maybe there is too much things Sticken out of the Abdominal Part... ps. these mini fins could be one of the Wiggle parts ont he character :)
Frost-wraith-shaman guy. Might have several more iterations before I decide if he's a warrior, or a mage. Could possibly see both a spell caster type or a more buffed melee dude. Tried some torn flowing drapery with PS paintover on the left.
No idea if you can photobash seamlessly that seems like it might be a bit bigger of a pain than you realize. Krita is definitely a good program I was using it for a while but I do dislike some of the interface for it though which made me go back to PS for the moment
