Im very glad you actually accepted weaknesses in your model and went back to work on it again. So thats actually a two-sided victory as an artist. A complete win-win situation kudos!
Hey guys! Here's my first pass at the roof tile. I'm getting the hang of building a nice height map but one thing that i struggle with is creating a nice baseColour... They tend to be too flat or generic, any tips for baseColour victory?
this thread is win. My contribution is some schweet Haloness from back in the day! haha, oh man, the piss clan we created. ^ played with a bungie guy, that was cool. clan victory poses warthog jump!
I got those too Dani! they work pretty good and they are cheap :) Back on track with this guys! Who do you guys think should be victorious by the end of the month? The righteous Knight or the fierce bounty hunter?

Thanks! I was lucky to find some great ref for the rigging yes. Other than that it's been a lot of patches of different references. The hull shape is largely inspired by the HMS Victory, simply because that ship has the most blueprints.
Holy shhhhhhh-flawless victory sir! She really turned out very clean looking, which is meant as a compliment, although it would be cool to see a "battle damaged" version with scrapes, bruises, runny make-up etc.
Finally making a start on this series of acrylic paintings which will either comprise of concept designs, environment visuals or indeed both (..we'll see) representing a personal impression living through a once in a hundred year "Black Summer" bushfire season for 8 months and frankly still mentally trying to accept had…
