since these holes are not semitransparent but just material on/off its a simple black + white map you can just take your normal map and mask out the holes in ps or wheresoever and then --> holes black, rest white, plug into transparency slot, done. -

Looked up some reference of prometheus, how they make their spaceships look big. Found out a simple groundfog was the most efficient solution. Added some little trees in it. ps: I tried rendering from an other angle but they're not that pretty as this one ... -

Having an 11" Samsung Slate that I sometimes paint with PS on, I'd say 13" is too darn small for something that's stationary. I'd rather just have an itty-bitty Intous, and see what I'm doing on a 20+ inch PC monitor. -

they either did it with vectors than painted in some of the shading your talking about, or that bit of shading is just a gradient on a ellipsis. i persnally would make the shape in AI, than boot it over to PS, and work a little with a soft brush, and my wacom on it. -

@HP: He said that he already reinstalled PS, Xnormal etc. multiple times. Did you try other images?Maybe it´s the image itself. I had similar problems when I wrote my own NormalMap Generator. -

Added the information boards and the film poster today. I had trouble replicating the film poster so I went for a TLoU one instead for some irony :P PS. The glass will come later when I do the glass textures. Thanks! -
