Just going for a humble fighter and his rat-speeder that he's maintained since he was a boy. A bike that's simple and easily modified and repaired, but one that's not exactly pretty. I haven't finished any personal work in years, so I'll just go with something simple and easy for me :)
Hey everyone! For a college course we were assigned to concept and model a vehicle. I decided to merge the bike from akira with a speeder bike from Star Wars Sorry about the rough concept. I started up on the block in and this is as far as I have Any critique is welcome.
The Rizzler haha you got those inspirations spot on XD, rey's speeder was an inspiration more than pod-racers. There is also a vibroblade, DH-17, small bacta canisters inside the cabin XD
thanks for the feedback duuude!:) Nice stuff to consider for the next couple of environments. Thinking about fixing some stuff on the well at some point. Maybe next portfolio update or something. Here's a redneck speeder bike thing!:)
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. I pretty much only play Hot Pursuit mode online which has to be the best racing mode ever in a racing game. Think Burnout, but 4v4 (cops vs speeders) with spike stripes, road blocks, helicopters, emps, nitrous... shit is intense!
Ahh, I see what you mean now. I think what I'll do is finish off the current pieces I'm sculpting this way, and if I feel like the process is too time-consuming I'll look into more efficient ways to do it. Currently I'm liking the freedom of Projection Mastering/Sculpting the joints between the stones, because I can vary…
Definitely give 3d Coat a try. It is really is fantastic for handpainted 3d stuff. It pretty much Photoshop in 3d, so if you can paint something nice in 'shop then you can do it in Coat too. Plus with a quick shortcut (CTRL+P) you can send stuff quickly to Photoshop for cleanup and then back again. Very nice smooth back…
i actually hate the ball droid haha, stupid design. Everything else looks awesome, the claymore lightsaber, the sleeker millennium falcon, the magnum lolly speeder and the awesome storm trooper design. I got high hopes :) Needs more lens flare haha
Hey guys going to be a big project for me. Fresh out of school and I am going to take on this challenge. This is going to be so huge in learning for me that I might explode but if I make it out then I will be one step closer to being awesome at this stuff. Going for a sweet land speeder thing. :D
I have worked only on UDK, CE3 and UE4 (but I can't say much about the last one unfortunetly). My 3 cents: CryEngine: 1. Very easy to get in. 2. You must be really trying to make something that will look bad in CryEngine. I mean really hard. 3. Material setup is very easy, from what I can see in newest version, the…
