thank you! yes that's exactly the plan - a short and a long dread repeated around. If that doesn't look natural I will then make a 3rd or 4th one. I'll be doing a little bit more of detailing then move onto the retopology, I want this wrapped up pretty soon
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but when you are in Edit poly mode, just select one edge and then just click the "Ring" or "Loop" button in the selection tab. If you want to do similar with faces, select about every 4th face, then the "Grow" button.
4th picture.. turn left 90 degrees and you're looking at my place. Nice pics. I enjoy the super processed filmy look. Pior mentioned the "Lomo" look. If you haven't checked it out it's worth reading about it and seeing some good examples.
looking forward to whatever you cook up. while i have never used 3/4ths of the tools in your toolset, the other 1/4 are so immensely helpful (auto viewport / base obj / hotkeyable span select / the various inner & outer selections) ..
I was a little tossed up on weather to respond to this or not but fuck it... Good art can come from anywhere and doesn't need to be tied to a big title. Some of my favorite "game art" doesn't exist in any game, it comes from challenges or something someone did in their spare time. Artists have to start somewhere. Do your…

Alright, form the mega gnar concepts I really like the 4th one - nice readability, and form the gnar helmets probably 7. But I will recommend you to match some of the elements like the ears, the gauntlets might be similar but just smaller and simpler and etc. But great stuff so far pal!
I like no 2 and 4 the best, the orange of 2 reminds me of the film more though. The 4th one is just really atmospheric and cool. So maybe you can take elements of both and then up the contrast between lights and darks as well because it feels very evenly lit now.
Okay thanks, makes sense now. And I will take that advice into account next time I work on a project. Here are some images of the tank, any thing you could quickly tell me to change? Need to bake and texture by the 4th. Changes which will make baking results good ect...
