Update time! Got some great feedback, and i was able to wrap up the sculpting phase. Here is a color comp done in PS, as well as the final sculpt. Feedback most appreciated, especially regarding color schemes.
im 26, and as I like to call it, 'going bruce willis' ps, anyone who likes to have a bit of fun taking the piss does end up in pain. that's a rooster promise I kid!!! (I don't)
ps, his names Jesse Schell, not Carnegie Mellon (thats a university I believe). he wrote the book the art of game design, I just recognised who he was.. Good book by the way, if a little exhausting
While this is a prime candidate for us euros to go 'what a stupid idea, Americans really are thick fatties, har har har', I'd love to try this! Go, American ingenuity! ps: send me one please.
ps the texture for the m4 looks pretty good, Ive never done any old school hand painted lighting diffuse only textures but that one looks solid to me, but still a little stone-ish in areas

Looking superb! Would you mind posting a detailed break down of the hair and how you made them? I always have trouble making hair that works. Thanks! ps. Man that shader is looking crazy
Cleaned up the textures in PS a bit and added a spec map. Rendered in 3ds max w/ raytraced shadows and no gi. I think I'm going to do a bit more clean up and then call it good for this guy.
C.Keen- Ok maybe not perfect but I'm looking to avoid any of the deformation that I've been having. There's always a technique to do things more accurately. ps I miss the ease of doing this in several clicks using nurbs.
You made me do it. Not very naked though. I'm a classy fella. :poly142: PS: And my windows isn't genuine because I haven't activated it yet. So don't cry haxx on me! ;O
