This is a free texture from here: https://3dtextures.me/2018/10/04/sapphire-001/ Basically, I'm curious how this is rendered properly with height and depth to the render. Obviously if this texture is added to a sphere it will simply be flat. Is adding a bump map the correct way to do this?
WORK IN PROGRESS I'm uploading this sample image of my project. I want to make the intro of GoldenEye 007 for the N64 What do you think? Suggestions are welcome
I want to get better at hand painting characters so i decided to paint some pokemon. Tell me what you think and critique is always welcome. #001 Bulbasaur
Just for the case, that anybody cares: Here are the final results after texturing in Substance Painter. Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag2 He got 15 000 Quads. It took me about 3 I still hope for some feedback.
Slipping in on the last day! Gonna grab this spot with a youtube link, then update with renders later. I'll see you guys tonight. http://youtu.be/cQIh98Xc3lk Uploading will probably take a while. Check post time if link 404s.
Yes! I love seeing UT 2003/2004 stuff still being worked on :) ! I feel its around those days I should have found this community really, awesome stuff so far :D
Total War series for PC, I was heavily into turn based strategy games back in the day and Rome 1 when released in 2004 was for me the absolute bomb, now the franchise has evolved across multiple titles since.
It's linear Stalker tbh. And yeah made by group that've split of STALKER team in 2004 i think (mostly art team), they used x-ray engine and 've been sued for it (GSC accused them of stealing), but won.
Tumerboy, I'm getting a 404 on those. Is it just dropbox, or are those gone? And thanks, Lampoly. Those might be nice ways to preview sets of brushes. The second one can export the brush-shape too, I seem to recall.
Good luck buying Google stock. You're a bit late on that train, hehe. They go for about $530/share right now. Best time to have bought in Google was Sept 3, 2004, where it traded at $100/share :)
