So, assuming that this ends up as a typical 128/256/512x6 size cubemap, resolution probably doesn't effect the quality too much, but what about high dynamic range?
Definitely try out Suite 2! :smiley: It's significantly faster than 1.8 in every way, and the results are also improved. Don't take my word for it - try it out and see!
Good lord, some of those stats are eye-opening. There's still an alarming proportion of people with no shader capabilities (17.8%), and there's still people with only half a gig of RAM? (19%) o_O

Was trying to sound that 512 was small for 250 polys... Damn internet with the sarcasm. (just to clear it out, i agree with you, perhaps a 128 would be the most correct i think )
Bottom-left is the UV layout for bits that will have transparency (the flipper, tail and feet), and bottom-right is the body, "leg" (stumpy as it is) and head. Both 128's.
