ok i have the latest drivers , and have mudbox 1.0.7 , at 180 000 polys its perfect no chugginess etc, if i subdivide again then the program goes nutbatshit , anyway heres the screenshot with the memory used : i dont get it :( i will reinstall mud to see if it fixes anything....
Alright, getting back on this project after a little break. I decided to bang out the small gate from the ref since it uses the same effect as the teleporter. Pretty simple, 702 tris, just finished the bakes. Paint still to come.
You can add a vector 2 to the texture coordinates. If you want to offset horizontally, use the first component. so it would be like 2,0. Similarly to this, if you decide to rather use a vertical texture, you would use 0,2 etc.
I like 6, although I prefer the shoulders and scarf in 7. I like the sort of regal look they have. Reminds me a bit of some of the character designs from this comic: http://www.rice-boy.com/vattu/index.php?c=102
Yeah the old Kinematics series is wayyyy out of data. From 2002 or so. I remember in the first one Alex Alverez sitting in front of a giant CRT monitor. You could probably still follow along, but a lot has changed.
Nice! Don't forget to put the wireframe of your explorer, really important in your portfolio. I would also specify the triangle count (ex: 10, 000 tris) and the texture size (ex: 2 x 1024). It's coming really nice! :)

Ha awesome! Nice find! As for the bug report you can enter 000 0000000 into the serial number its what the trial version is set to use until you activate it. Honestly I think you can type any garbage in there and it would accept it, I don't think it checks it.
