I haven't made any movies, but I've used UE4 to make some personal cartoon projects of mine. I think if you really want to, you can make an animated film in a game engine. In the future (I think it's in version 4.6 that's to be released) I think Epic are planning to reinstate the feature where you can use bloom/emissive to create actual lighting, though do be weary in doing such as in the UDK it could quite quickly become expensive. I believe any 600 series card or newer can stream to the Nvidia shield through local wifi. Nice if you share rooms with people and can't play at your desk for any reason. Being able to play Android games is a bit redundent for most people with a smart phone, but kinda awesome if you already got some high end android games… -

I wish I could help, I have a similar (maybe the same) problem with my foliage in the November 2011 and July 2012 UDK builds. The foliage in my scene was completely un-shadowed.
