You're missing the arrow slits in both the stone and the wooden parts of the tower itself. The corners of the wooden portion are 2 45 degree sections, rather than a single 90 degree bend. The attached building doesn't really fit the style of the reference, especially the wooden portion built from horizontal boards.
Awesome work man. Simply blew me away. Just wanted to pint out real quick that in the video at about 45 seconds there is a section of grass that seems to be moving up and down way more than it should be in the bottom right area. Other than that, wonderful execution. Good luck with graduation.
I gotta agree, the chains feel unnatural with how it's laid out. The 45 degree'ish angle, with a completely different angle like that is a bit unsettling. personally I'd say just have the attachment points right at the side of the bridge instead of on that piece that juts out; just bring the chains to the level of the…
Looks nice. I think the texture on the weights should put less emphasis on the edges of the model, never seen a weight with flat sides. Also I think you should rotate one 45 on each side a bit more, epecially on the right side, kinda obvious that you duplicated the model.
I've tried taking a life drawing class locally. couldn't finish it though becuase of the poor time it was offered and that i had to drive 45 mins on the freeway to get there. balancing that, my job and my girlfriend was too much. I wish i could find a night class for it. that would be ideal.
Fastest way for you then might just be to select a polygon object, and just swiftly move the right-click up, down, left, right and all the 45 degrees things just to see what happens :) I think it flashes up one you highlighted after you complete a valid gesture.
In the video footage, at about 8 mins 45 seconds the guy dies, and he's transported to the 'spirit realm' (or whatever it is) and we see these red stingray looking things shooting at his blue spirit which falls through a hole. He then jumps down into the hole, and I presume - back into his body.
Ah thats the bit I didnt understand from the video, like my foot can only turn about 45 degress so theres not a lot of rotation or that is amplified through sensitivity in the software or something clever. cool idea anyway, keen to see how this works.
Some people on here claim there is no ageism in games, then you have posts like the above. Anyhow, do you look 45? And if not do they (interviewers) somehow find out you have a child? Do whats best for you. You're still creating, which is the #1 thing.
