Are you a hard core gamer? Otherwise for content creation, the extra gpu wont do you much. Never get the top top of the line CPU. Get the ones below it. Else in a few months, when the price drops $500, you'll cry yourself to sleep. -

I have no idea how the tech of Brigade will be different to Octane but this sounds very promising to me: "The Otoy Brigade solution running on a single graphics chip can process a billion rays per second" Yea, a system like UDK or Cry Engine would be great! -

[IMG][/img] Wow I havent updated in a while. I put the hand painted on the back burner for the meantime. For now I am working on a Star Trek project in Cry Engine 3. Its a based off of a concept by Fernando Acosta. Crits and Comments are welcome. -

Thanks to all who posted, there's a lot to be learnt from these. It's probably a bit too much, but I'm asking anyway, anyone care to share a full environment scene? Either the complete game scene (Unity/UDK/Cry) or the Maya/Max scene. That would truly be awesome. -

NOW I'm lost :confounded: tried what you did. 1 UV Island(Thrown in to UVLayout, relax everything, looks just as yours), 1 Smoothing group in both lowpoly and cage. But errors keep showing :cry: This are the cage and the lowpoly .obj export options. -
