Thank you to the moderator who changed the name of this thread. We have been around for over a decade and are not going away. There are 23 active people working on this project today. Many work in this field and are doing this after work. The need now is for an animator and a terrain/vegetation modeler.
dude BONE grew out of his face with the venom stuff, Im pretty sure that would put anyone on a IV. dont you remember batman beyond what happend to bane in the future? Long term effects of venom hospitalized him turned him into a vegetable
Some progress, not much stuff added other than textures for some of the previously untextered models, a couple of new foliage, gates (the left side still needs to walled off). Still need a lot more vegetation and natural stuff as well as stuff for the interior of the camp.
I'd say the "stand" could do with being bigger/thicker in scale to hold up a sphere of this size. It looks to weak to support such an object currently. Also to lift the sphere up about 15% to have it rise above the vegetation below making it more of a focal point.
Yep...Bellsey gets it... I loved this movie..even the plastic vegetable in the giant cannibal pot...had a great soundtrack too... can watch the whole thing on youtube [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUiY6SVOthA"]King. Solomon's. Mines(1985) - YouTube[/ame]
New shrubs, threw the veg back on, made some rock mat adjustments. Having the plants back in really makes the scene want for better ground materials or more ground cover. I plan on focusing the last vegetation asset on filling that hole. Almost done!
I agree with Chillydog, There is almost no ground foliage, it currently has a very man made feel about it, Almost like a display at a museum or something similar (it looks like you have only used each piece of ground vegetation once, as if they were hand made)
Going to stop noodling on this one before I go crazy :D One of the most challenging sketches yet. Not sure if I should tackle something without vegetation for the next one or double down and work on it until I am comfortable. P.S. Mery Christmas!
Wip #8 [House and gallow pole Bake] So i finished last building low poly. Also bake gallow pole's. And tweak composition a little bit. On the weekend i plan to start texturing everything and tweak light and maybe start some vegetation.
Dont know about that particular courrse, but i take vegetation and plants class. And i must say that it was great experience and i learn a lot. Every week you get training videos and in the end of the week you do homevork and recieve feedback from instructor.
