there seems to be a bug (?!) sometimes when I have instances of an object with nurms subdivision enabled, the subdivision is 'disabled' when I deselct the object Select object -> subd on Deselct object -> subd off only "solution" so far is to merge the scene into a fresh one.. but i don´t want to merge over and over again…
You should indeed probably try to merge roughness and metallic and maybe AO into a single RGB map to save on texture samples and video memory. If you build your substances in Designer, you can still expose all the parameters you want, just make sure you use a rgb merge node at the end before publishing.
hmm idd, I can merge the vertex's sure but I'm trying to make it so I can just duplicate it 3x and have it all snapped together. I guess i could duplicate, merge, delete half the faces then I should have a working quarter... right? Would people recommend this or is there a better way to go about it?
2.8 Connect_Merge_Modal.py Connects and Merges in a similar fashion to mayas merge vert tool. Fill_Modal.py Uses f2 and Smart Fill Addons(https://gumroad.com/l/Blender_addons_smart_fill) Huge Thanks to @Stromberg90 for the original code. Use "bpy.ops.object.smart_fill_tool_raycast('INVOKE_DEFAULT', True)" as the command to…
When you mirror uvs like you say, the uvs are completely intersecting, ea perfectly ontop of each other when you merge them. Guess that depends on wether you merge them afterwards or not. Assuming you do, yeah I do think that counts as overlapping.
in CS and CS2, although this probably works on all version of PS: In the layers window Ctrl-Click a layer, then Ctrl-Click another layer *ABOVE* the first chosen layer then hit Ctrl-E (Merge). It will merge the bottom selected layer ON TOP of the top selected layer as if the bottom WAS on top already.
====Day2 progress==== * I started refining the mesh of dress, didnt know how to tackle this at first with how dynamesh reacts with small areas at low resolutions so I ended up making it as 2 separate subtools (front+back / sides) then merging after im done playing with general silhouette, I also lifted the side parts up to…
I highly recommend the method Der Hollander explained as I build bodies the same way. Now about your questions : - To add another sphere as a subtool, just click "append" and select a sphere. - To dynamesh several subtools together, click "merge down" to merge together the subtools you want and then click "dynamesh" to…
Alex262: That's the whole point of this tool. However, you're asking for an image editing by merging them. Which in my current set of skills, not in my capacity to do directly in c#. But good news, to merge lots of maps together; you already have a fantastic photoshop script that I mention, made by FunkyBunnies :…
yep, and also you need a selection for it like Brad mentioned. Still in in PS, Is there a similar shortcut for merging and copying a choice of layers? Is there a shortcut for automatically converting something to a smart object and then rasterizing it (both steps in one). It seems that if you just rasterize a layer strait…
