i'm late to get back on this but i still want to champion big legs small torso -- it's both a realistic shape (a strongman competitor squats a lot more than he benches, it's only bodybuilders and young men trying to land chicks who focus on their upper body like that) and a visually interesting shape for a videogame…
Hi everyone! I'm currently learning how to use MEL to automate some repetitive tasks in my rigging/animation workflow and I've run into a problem. I thought I'd post my script here to see if anyone can point me in the right direction. Basically, this script is designed to create blendshapes for clothing and accessories to…
This is pretty cool. I found this on a dinosaur blog i frequent.(yes i am a nerd >_>) The kickstarter is for Paleoartist Tyler Keillor. You guys might have seen his work if you've watched discovery or history or science channel. He makes life size sculptures of dinosaurs. If anyone here has seen the special on the Mega…
Yes, variation came to my mind also (you got this far might as well go all the way with it). Can see the pattern on the green elements and it was a little meh to me, but otherwise i can understand how complicated these graphs can get. Makes me appreciate alternative sides of the production pipeline. Otherwise this is kind…

Also, if these are more next gen techniques, what techniques would be used in say a PSOne or DS game? Which are…
HOLY SHIT! I played the X series on the SNES TO DEATH. I remember feeling so badass after beating Mega Man X w/o any armor (minus the boots as those were impossible to avoid) and w/o any heart upgrades. The X series was the template for all mega man/zero games to follow. Probably the biggest step forward in how Mega Man…
Ham-strings are way too fat. I would just smooth blend the whole knee area, knees can look weird when the leg is at a stand pose, but it seems way too blobby and defined. The upper leg meeting the knee is crazy as well. Its like somehow he works out the muscle 2 inches above the knee cap. Its huge. and looks kinda saggy…
Hi :) So I went in to the latest challenge we had here at Polycount thinking I would actually finish it. My fiance was away for a few days, I didn't have to work over the weekend, no one was visiting us from out of town, it was perfect.... Long story short, I got caught up in playing videogames and taking some "me time"…
