New sword (Jugg is like a good gun collector: he needs to have all the swords out there)! I'd like to thank Hellmouth for letting me work on this. Here's a link to the dota 2 workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=168707604&searchtext= Let me know what you like and what you don't!
Oh, that's a completely different issue then it sounded like you had. Are you saving out the map as a TGA at a low bit depth perhaps (16bit TGAs will get that banding)? Or are you using the actual psd in Max?
Flood fill won't work at c16 without modification - I just tried it and it comes out empty. It appears to work ok at c16f - You can make a 16f version by taking copies of flood_fill and flood_fill main and setting their bit depths appropriately. You'll be sacrificing precision of course but at 2048 the 16f version appears…
Thank you everyone for all the advice you've given me, Its really helped and this forum is one of the most welcoming I've visited. For all who were interested to see examples of work students at the university have produced, on the open day the course leaders showed us a showreel to get a feel for it. Here they are from…

Hey Noors, thanks for the really helpful graph and the quick reply :) I've NEVER been great at Math, mostly because I overthink things. Can you please run through with me what I'm doing wrong. So, I measured, the length of the level is exactly 23120 pixels. I set my orthographic camera to FOV 50. I set my calculator to…
Loving the helmet material -- that on the body will look cool. I'd say more paint thought! As for the rest of the body -- the armor seems a bit rigid. It seems that this armor should be very flexable, and agile. -- maybe not. In any case, armor shouldn't restrict movement. Looking at the front and back of the torso, there…
I saw some of your other post and i think that you are misunderstanding the idea behind making a highpoly, the main reason is that you want it to have smooth edges and details, so you can bake normals into a low poly mesh. There are many ways of making a highpoly but i will point you to 3 of them. Subdivision surface aka…
