Hey guys!! This is my first post and my first high poly enviroment assets for my new game enviroment in UE4. This is assigment from my University and I want to make this forest scene of a very talented concept artist Guillem H. Pongiluppi.
Seemed a tad lazy writing, i mean we've seen time and time again that Walt is a great mastermind, orchestrating Gus' assination, its out of character for him to have slipped up so much with
I completely agree with rollin. It's a waste of resources if you choose one over the other and it makes you're pipeline a bit of a nightmare if you see them as opposing factions rather than as part of a possible solution. I'm mostly going to talk about faces, because that's my point of reference but it applies a lot of…
Well the thing here is, that it was the interviewer that was in shorts and slippers, so I'm wondering if they really care to see me. Is there any onus on them being presentable? Also they looked very tired, so I'm wondering if they're being overworked. When I was in the waiting room, people passing by wouldn't even look…
Before you dive into all the myriad of software and techniques out there, learn the fundamentals. Its way too easy to get overwhelmed with the amount of software out there. I'm just going to list stuff in no particular order: 1. Website Layout: I like the top navigation bar that stays anchored to the top so I can conveniently navigate whenever. I'm not sure how I feel about the image strip of the dusty hallway at the top. I found myself scrolling right past it to your actual work. Perhaps if…
Alright dude going to be brutally honest here, but I was once in your position too. I've had lots of friends in your position, and the sooner you realize that you're in no way, shape or form employable right now, the faster you can get on the road to success. Every single piece of work on your website is completely…
What I do is asign material ID's instead of smoothing groups then use GoZ. This imports the material ID's as Polygroups. Then you can hit "Crease PG" to crease the polygroup boarders. Pain in the ass but easiest way I have found.
Hey guys, this is my first thread. I decided to go back to school and brush up on my skills get back into game enviroment modeling as I have strayed from that path. I will be posting my assigments here though the coming weeks. Hope you guys like and wish me luck.
