I recently had lateral epicondylitis due to gripping my mouse all day with my forearm being in a pronated position - the pain lasted for over a year. I tried all sorts of remedies for that, ergonomic mice, variety braces to limit the strain on my arm, powerball to strengthen my forearm muscles but none of that really fixed… -

You don't need a tablet to draw, just a pencil,pen and pad of paper. I have difficulty drawing/sketchin with a tablet because I'm so used to using a charcoal pencil/markers and a smooth newsprint pad and that's 1:1 versus a tablet. ebay? I just got a bamboo pen and touch as a travel tablet for $30 or so. Its one or two generations of tablet back, but its still has 1024 pressure levels and capacitive multitouch capability. It doesn't have the tilt or rotation sense capabilities like the intuos pro pens, but it works fine as an everyday tablet.… -

Really? I've been using my Intuos 3 for a couple of years and I haven't had to replace the nib once. I use the springy gray nib only (Gives a bit of feedback to the pen/tablet) and mine is still pristine. Are you jabbing the tablet like a 6 year old would crayons to paper? Turn down the sensitivity in the Wacom preferences… -
