blizzard should ban everyone on that pettition from battlenet. that 17k would be just a drop in the bucket of players. but most likely blizzard does not care. because despite the crying all 17k of those tards will still buy the game.
I've come to wish you an unhappy birthday I've come to wish you an unhappy birthday 'Cause you're evil And you lie And if you should die I may feel slightly sad (But I won't cry)
" Same scene looks perfect in path tracing render probably but typical on-line rasterized render makes it look sort of dry and "uncanny" art style wise. I long tried to find what it resembles to me till randomly find a well known "rainbow" portrait of Elizabeth 1. Full of tiny details done with perfectly same attention in…
I'm actually surprised that it runs as poorly as it does on high end rigs to be quite honest, even allowing for the graphical detail. If I remember correctly the Far Cry engine ran pretty well on machines that were around in its day, so you'd think Crytek would be more concerned about performance. Especially since they're…
Any idea what spec computer that demo was running on? Looks like the editor has some really nice features, but I think in some cases it looks like it's sacrificing quality for ease of use. For example, I wonder how easy it is to fix up texturing on the deformed terrain, or if it always has to use some sort of samey tiling…
cry engine also has their own market place. it probably has less users looking to buy than unreal or unity but there may be less competition on it as well. I havent looked at it since they announced it so I may be wrong.
Unreal Engine + This middleware : http://www.gamecaster.com/news/GCS3-Revolutionary-Virtual-Camera-Control- The Cry Engine also have something similar if I remember correctly. You can see a demo with a guy in the jungle jumping from an helicopter.
Could it actually fly in the sky? :/ I'd figure some big waves would make it cry if it flew so close to the water all the time. Or does it just turn into a boat with jet engines? :o I MUST DO RESEARCH ON THIS!
I own a Torque 3D license and I can tell you it's not worth it. It's severely limited. You need to be able to modify the source code to get as much out of it as you would with UDK, Cry Engine, or even Unity 3D.
Thanks a lot fellas. Kubajaniak : I'm using Maya. Please not the wireframe, it's so bad that I cry blood every time I see it :D Shinigami : Just regular way. Put hdri, area light and hit the render.
