It doesn't seem like you have many options really. doing some rigging will make you a better animator and working in a production environment will make you a better Developer At the end of a tech anim internship you'll be a more attractive candidate to a studio for any job than you would be if you didn't do it so if that's…
You want to look to the forms of the whole head, preferably the whole body. You can use a free app like Daz3D for reference. The modelling work you have done indicates you started at a high resolution which makes it almost impossible to control your mesh. Work from low to high. You can sculpt eyes by placing a sphere in the…
The main issue with Designer it's monstrously inconvenient in its default state and you have to re-do almost everything to be actually useful. You have to master FX -node because it's almost only way to do scale independent anything . Where you could code scale features independent of non-square factor of your textures .…
Nope , it doesn't. You need to add explicit output node . You can drop base material or any other node in 3d view pane to see your result but still have to have the "output" node to save your result as a file or export as sbsar .
Hello! My name is Kekoa, but you all can just call me Koa :D. As the name suggests, I am indeed from Hawai'i! I've recently gotten into 3D animation and I want to show off my work so far and get some feedback. If you can share a couple of things you like about the animations and some things that you think can be improved…

Hello again! I reworked the blocking of the interior a bit to have a better idea of the assets still needed: - I added an inset on the back wall for the bathroom door, as well as some more lighting in this area, - Some more wall decor and a coat hanger next to the door, - Lights, a menu, shelves and some clutter in the…
you can try corona scatter. I found it very handy for simple tasks. It comes with corona render engine. It has straight forward workflow and quite simple to use this plug-in. Also you can give it a try with array mod (depends what you want), but array is array and scatter is something else. cheers! -M.
Hi! What is your final use-case for this? Do you have to create the final render in Painter? I use Painter primarily for texturing and then render in other applications. Maybe it's related to the shader used? This is with alpha-test I assume? While I can't think of a solution, if you share the files, I could check on my…
