Colors isn't compatible with Maya or Max 2017. We have no timeframe for when it will be, unfortunately. You'll need to make color IDs using another tool or create masks from your UV shells.

There was no timeframe given for "soon", so it could reasonably take up to (and including) March for 1.9 to be released. Also, given that the developers consistently comment here regarding the pace of development, it's safe to say that it'll be closer to March. Hope that helps. Sk
Hi Eric, I know you've just started, or are just starting, the closed beta for Megascans. Is there a timeframe for how long that beta will run, or does it depend on how many people are participating/what kind of feedback you get/etc?
Got some nice work there man, the timeframe of a nextgen character depends on the artist and if the artist got some clear guidelines to follow like concept etc. I usually finish my characters in a month, well my latest ones.
Regarding the spambot infestation that has been happening recently, would it be possible to 1) limit thread creation to a handfull an hour and 2) temp ban when an account receive a certain amount of flags within an certain timeframe?
I'd say anywhere between 3-5 years but I can see that timeframe getting longer based on art complexity. I've shipped 2 MMOs in 7 years, so it's not like working on an annual or semi annual release cycle.
not using modularity in this kind of scene is quite crazy too, especially considering the very little timeframe you had... you would have been able to spend more time on individual panels and global shapes rather than everything at once
How can one texture take three weeks? Thats an insaine amount of time. Id say at most two days. I wonder whats taking 2-3 weeks... An employer wouldnt agree with that timeframe :P
it was mentioned on the job post here that there's a two-three week timeframe. I'm assuming thats how long it should take you from when you start, not from when they announced it. But as Stoofoo said, once the position is filled...
