I did find another solution using FBX. from LT - in the FBX export options make sure that constraints are on, also when exporting from LT don't do an export selected as that does not work, do an export ALL. on import (say into Maya Full or LT) - make sure your FBX import settings have constraints set to ON - and Skeleton…
I can't seem to set the correct value in Poly selection Constraint on Texture Offset (UV) polySelectConstraint -mode 3 -type 0x0010 -dist 1 -distpoint 0.5 0.5 0 -distbound 0 0.5; distbound is suppose to set the Min and Max for distance. But it refuses to set to 0.5, whenever it executes it jumps down to 0.25. It is a wierd…
[ QUOTE ] edge ring select, connect then constraint to edge and move-tool on the verts if i want the new edge loop to be non-centered. [/ QUOTE ] In the connect dialog box there is a spinner for "slide" that lets you slide the connecting edge around without needing to create it and then switch your constraints.
Hello folks. After playing SH2R I was curious how to make cloth and plastic like game has in hospital basement. It might not be physically accurate, but most of the time looks convincing enough and most importantly - pretty cool. A is straightforward, this kind of thing I can do since this is what most tutorials show -…
Checking/unchecking axis constraints does nothing, apart from what you'd expect it to do, which is enabling/disabling the axis constraints. The dropdown menu is set to standard. This is what my Grid and Snap Settings window looks like: Unfortunately I already knew all that, but thanks anyway.
Hey all, So ive got a character rig with constraint, controllers and skin weight, so I was wondering if there a way to export the rig in FBX format without the rig breaking? I even turn on constraints & skin ect In the export setting. Because my friend has maya2016 which cant open mayaLT files. Thanks
Thanks. That sounds good. I will soon open a Thread where i will asks questions about my Workflow in Max, and if i can do my workflow in a similar way in Modo. For now im missing things like Edge Constraints. Axis Constraints and so on.... but these are things for the new thread. Gazu
What about using the "Normal Align" tool? To snap the star object to the surface of the other object. You could also try using an attachment constraint... or was it called a surface constraint? I forget which one it is... but it sticks the object on the surface and lets you slide it around and rotate it along its local…
He, I recently finished my machine, object how ever you want to call it. And Now I want to animate it but when I click on the time line this happens. I haven't animated anything so I don't know what happens. I have used constraints and aim constraints and the nurb circles to turn the machine. Please help Greetings, Joep
you can also set edge constraint on and push the connected edges to the outer edge then push back in and they will be the same distance from the outer edge all the way along. tho this may not work in some scenarios and the inset would work better. using extrude on the edge may work for you as well edit: and i just saw that…
