I've seen the concepts and replicas of the 2010 soldier getup at trade shows here at the Pentagon. It's not really impressive at all, and considering it's 2006, and they have nothing even close in production for the grunt now, i highly doubt they will meet thier 2010 transformation date. The GRAW example is dead on to what…
Socket 754 sucks unless you're going with a budget system. The biggest gripe with it is you can't utilize dual channel memory. The memory on a graphics card determines how high the resolution on the textures will be. For most new games, I'd say go with 256mb at least, but 128 will do if that's the best deal you can find.…
Couple that with the amazingly well-balanced gameplay of ns, and you have a winner on your hands. Well, if anyone bothers to pay attention to it, amidst all of the CS's and Battlefields of this world. I really do hope they pull it off, they deserve it.
so what's the skinny on costs.. I recall reading somewhere you'll pay for the game and have to have a ongoing subscription on battlenet to play single or coop.. that sucks nm... okee found a similiar post looks like micro transactions.. starcraft 2 and diablo 3 will ship with battlenet account no additional fees to play on…
Ive seen next gen characters go up to 10k so i wouldn't worry about 5000, There's too many variables to consider to determine a standard across all games. So go with as little as you can to represent what you need to, but not so little as to impair how good it looks. Your main concern is the outline at all angles, stuff…
In terms of the parkour aspect of the gameplay, the first thing I thought of was Crackdown (incredibly underrated game that seemed to garner unfair GTA comparisons). Visually it's decent, and I like what DICE did with Battlefield. I'd like to see if they can make the parkour aspect as fun as the orb collecting in Crackdown.
I don't have a PC atm. I upgraded my old PC and gave it to my bro as a Christmas present. He has more time to play games than I do. No offense Cheap, but running on an old GF2 for 3 years was a nightmare. FedEx has just delivered most of my new parts from Newegg. I'm waiting on my monitor and 9800 Pro to arrive probably on…
also from the BBC website: Games giant Electronic Arts were also on stage to announce a series of titles that would be released for the Mac. The latest Harry Potter game, Battlefield 2142, Tiger Woods, Need for Speed Carbon and Madden are all to be released for the plaform, in major boost to gaming on Macs. Games legend…
There is a very interesting book called "ACID: The Secret History off LSD" that talks alot about MK-Ultra and other projects. It mentions a drug that was developed and tested in Vietnam called 3-quinuclidinyl benzilate or "BZ" that was reputed to have 10 times the hallucinogenic strength of LSD with none of the "mind…
