Your matinee is probably 5 seconds in length. Need to reduce that within Matinee itself. Didn't understand the cam target question. You mean controlling what it focuses on? I tend to attach the camera to the player/whatever you control with the Attach To action in Kismet.
my vote is for uwe boll. and my guess is that this is 'jump the shark' time. when the doom movie came out, i was so embarresed to be a doom player because of the image it gave to the public. i'm sure this will have the same social effect as a Dungeons and Dragon movie.
hehe, nice to see some who are/were lineage 2 players The Elf chick rocks and utterly reaks with lineage 2 texture goodness :] Loving it completely, the low-res texture on the sword does seem to take away from the overal quality of the model.
My point has always been that you should strive for Realism, not copy reality. It doesn't matter if it's identical to what you're looking at, if the average player is going to look at the scene and say it's wrong. Keep things realistic, but if something doesn't look right, change it.
Nice clean bake and good geo. I would have modeled the riffle at the top instead of baking it, because in a FPS/TPS Game this will be the players view direction/focus and with the current game engine you don't have to go ultra low poly anymore.
............. I sir, am speechless. I'm glad Firebert found some stuff to crit about, because I got nothing :) Maybe the only thing I would look at is, will this be seen close by the player or not? If not, maybe you spent too much time on the details :)
A BF2 player, huh Daz? If I can get this damn rig to stop crashing on me after every half-hour or so of gameplay, you up for some Karkand and the like? (And I see the DK2 shortcut... still remembering the old days, huh?)
Hehe, looks pretty fun. The level textures and modelling could do with a lot more work to match up to the quality of the players and weapons. More games need medieval crossbows. Good to see one here Nice work getting this far! Hope it's successful.
I've had one since about september, the windows XP version. It's a great little lightweight, mobile computer. I used to bring it to work with me, carry it around the office etc. Very capable video and music player, good for taking notes, etc.
