Hey, just wanted to let people know that I will be teaching an advanced class on characters at the Art Institute of Dallas this upcoming semeseter. I have asked that any alumni in the Dallas area that have not yet found jobs within our industry could partake in the class, and they were kind enough to allow it. Classes are…

I'm a U.S. citizen living in Thailand and to over come the 30 days limit, there are services that would drive us foreigners on a bus to the border of the country where we'd leave the country for a few hours, maybe have a meal in Cambodia, and come back in to renew our 30 days. A lot of foreigners are doing this here. Cost…
I like it but i feel like you could do well to add more functionality to the design, I know it's near future so I would go a somewhat industrial and functional look rather than random scifi panels, luckily it's just some quick additions. Adding things like latches on panels and following design rules like the 30-70 rule…
I would check out the t2i, t3i, t4i series. They are basically all the same. If you are going to start with a prime lens I would go 30 or 50. 50 is zero distortion. 30 will only be a little and show a lot more. It sounds like you are screwing yourself by getting a prime but they are honestly a lot better. Also it will…

It's always a good idea to keep practicing…

I don't want to go back to QA. I got a taste of that my freshman year, it's time-sucking to me. It left little time afterwards to actually "live life" so to speak. And the work itself just felt really uncreative. And that was with Blizzard, and they treat their QA people with a higher modicum of respect than other QA teams…
