Hello VeryCrunchyTaco, that render was taken in Marmoset 2. @Slosh: Yes, but its just for that render, the final version will just be flat without normals. And thanks to everyone else :)
Are you familiar with Physically-Based Rendering by any chance? You might want to do that instead since that's a much more current-gen texturing and rendering workflow.
I had something like this happen on my Radeon too. It's basically a problem with their DX9 renderer. If you go into options and change the renderer to DX10 it should fix it.
I tried a couple of re-renders using your suggestions... This is using scanline renderer, default lighting, and materials as per your request. Is this what you meant?
Yep, I've tried it. But I tried to increase ray distance. Seems it help. But the time of rendering..... It's been rendering at 8 hrs. Tomorrow I will check it out.
i would uvmap the highpoly, and render out an ao map without the floaters and then render out the aos for the floaters separately, and then bake the two like the normalmap to the lowpoly
