just finished to pose still left only the grass but i call it done! i'm retopologizing it now @krztyczekpstryczek i left the wood as it is, i did tons of testing but every result was not satisfying for me so i decided to keep it as it is but for the future I will practice to do chopped wood -

Starting to attack the LoL Season 3 DigiArt Contest. here are a couple of thumbs I've started wtih. Wanted to do a situation where Swain is practicing the spell burn from Liandry's Torment on test dummy Minions. HIlarity ensues. Which thumbs do you think are working? -

I've tinkered before but this is pretty much my first character. It's all one mesh right now. I suppose I should clarify that I'm practicing making game assets. Would I still want to keep the hair mesh separate from the head if it's a game asset? -

I feel you might have rushed ahead a bit as the head still needs a lot of work. If there are closeups/cutscenes this will let the rest of the character down. A lot of the lumpiness of the sculpt is hidden by texturing/sss effect but I think it would be good practice for you to keep working on the head. -

Thanks again =) So, as a practical step from here i think i'll get more experience making assets whilst researching mods and modding. After a while of doing this, i'll try to find an indie game who's asking for help. A plan! Thanks for a the help and advice =D -

Thank you for exposing these mistakes. Now I see them and they're a bit damaging for the whole piece. I'll try to work harder on my composition. I know that I'm not good with painting hands. They need a lot more of practice. Thank you so much for help :smile: -

That's a good survey. Recommended! A question I thought of during it was "Did you ever see environmental narrative that failed? Explain." Not that I have a specific example, but it's a good practice to flip the coin. Wish you the best with your paper! Will you please share it here when you're done? -
