The way they've done the roar for that teaser mimics a specific stylistic glissando-octave jump on the koto (there's some taiko drum in there too). Which makes sense, as the original roar was also created with a string instrument.
yea I am having the same issue, was able to connect to a couple servers, but half the time it wont connect, or connects and then proceeds to stay at a black loading screen with the sound of the ocean playing....super frustrating.
Yeah, its kind of a "Midas Touch" thing. I mean, what happens when it rains? Or what happens if you chuck a Gremlin into the ocean? Theoretically, the unchecked reproduction would smother the entire planet.
I figured out the problem. Themateriallayerblend node was not working with the layer attributes. I used the blendmaterialattributes node whcih took care of things. There is just so much I do not know or understand when it comes to materials. It is like spending time in an inlet thinking you now know the nature of the ocean.
Same as above^^ however I would say to fix the ocean as the main issue it could be tiled a little better, its very static and some vertex painting would not affect your limits, good luck!
Fuck yea... looking great! Are the panels with the hand rails going to be glass windows that look out into the ocean? It could give you some chances to do some really cool caustic lighting inside and out.
Thank you!! Thank you! and nice to hear you say that. It's so easy to go overboard with stuff like that and it ends up looking like something thats been on the bottom of the ocean for 100 years, haha!
For those interested I did manage to work this out using uvs as the mask. Shader preview @4:26 [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtRZ0BjO4Rg"]Pixel/Cube Ocean Shader - YouTube[/ame]
I can think of quite a few. Phantasy Star Online 2 had various long hair styles. There is the newest American Mcgee's Alice, Heavenly Sword, and a few characters in the newer Star Ocean games.
My dream studio would be placed in a civilized and safe city near ocean/sea (beaches!) with a warm climate with no winters. Preferable average year temperature would be 26-30 C the rest doesn't matter
