That's the first time I have ever heard anyone say that particular navigation method is not easy to use with a tablet pen, its practically made for pen tablet/cintiq workflow. If you have "Force Proportions" checked in the tablet driver your screen ratio shouldn't matter -- if the tablet doesn't match and you select that, it cuts off a part of the tablet to make the ratio match. -

I have a UC logic Monoprice tablet and LOVE IT. If you want to test drive the digitizer and feel of the tablet but not take the 650 dollar plunge, buy yourself the 80 dollar tablet and give it a spin. -
