I am very interested in knowing the answer to this question too Been considering taking non-related to videogame courses and pass a degree to be able to apply to an american work permit. (and learn new stuff at the same time)
Yep. I thought it was a bit thin on real information but it was definitely well executed. Could very well be the intro to a videogame. Since I hate streaming, here's a download link: http://www.knife-party.net/movs/barry.mov
You will be rich working in videogames, you could buy a ferrari!, and a 99% of piracy won't suposse nothing bad LOL Jokes apart, it's like another job, very bad paid if you work in the wrong place.
I am a concept artist working for videogames and film since 2010, both in production and preproduction . I am always looking for new opportunities as a freelancer. Contact me at : longpham.art@gmail.com Long Pham http://www.longpham.net/ longpham.art@gmail.com
It provides constant challenge and it's really hard to get bored doing it. There's always just one more thing to learn and do. Plus it has a lot to do with videogames. And as others have already said, money :P
I would never get videogames from my familiy, they all think it's a stupid thing to give... I'm not getting my stuff till tomorrow because of other people having to go elsewhere first.
There are videogames besides halo and call of duty? Took your survey. Is this the 'why dont we have procedural bruising and fracturing GUYSSS' dissertation? Reminded me of [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II8mK_6ZgWw[/ame]
I still think there must be something, this is quite fishy... there is no logic in all this. BTW, for those interested in a job in the videogame industry: "welcome to the reality, these jobs are for nomads and slaves, don't cry if you end with a kick in the ass".
cute song but to be honest her portfolio doesn't seem all that great and not videogame centered, just more like random drawings. now i don't know if a i could do better atm but.....ya
^ this IMO, as long as it looks real good and close enough to the reference, it's totally fine. It will only be used in a videogame, not in a real world. And man can never be accurate with something, only precise. That's why we build machines.
