what LOD group do you have them set to? You can set the LOD Bias, but there is a possibility the ini is nuking it. If you go into UTEngine.ini, you can edit the values there. Search for TEXTUREGROUP, and you can define the values.
A node based compositor like Nuke or digital fusion I guess, dont know how that relates to gimpshop though. Claydough: Gimpshop was never that great TBH, I'd just stick with GIMP, atleast your getting the latest builds.
Hey guys! Been working on this sketch for a few days after work, no particular reason for it other than to stop myself going rusty. Would love to get crit on any aspect of the image :) (zbrush, vray, nuke) see ya :)
Can't say I ever had that happen without the window popping up as a warning, but yesterday I had a really nasty redirect virus, which took about two hours to clear. I was ready to nuke the C drive.
I'd do this in Nuke, ( or natron ) because as you say photoshop clamp the viewport value. ( at least for me ) You just want to move your blackpoint until your mid value is set to 0.5, then you'll be able to use it as a 8 or 16bit map
Yeah, this isn't The Foundry's doing - their first steps appear to be more along the lines of making a Modo-Nuke link (although I imagine more will appear as time goes on). It's pretty cool, I should really check out Mari at some point...
Yeah, I've an interest in procedural modelling! In particular I'm charmed by all the procedural natural environments (terrain, trees, leaves, and so on). Where woul you suggest to start to study this field? Should I try even other programs like Nuke?
yah i may or may not fire this up on the official pcount server... i was thinking of not replacing the current one, but turning it off and firing this up.. see what its like for a few days and see how it goes. then nuking it and the old one is turned back on...
hmm, hard to troubleshoot without the files. I remember having this issue before, and it was a problem with the object scale. -1 and 1 were the wrong values (way too high in my case). I'd try to get the true pixel values out of Nuke if possible.
