It might be nice to get some more color into this scene. I can sort of imagine the thing at the end of the hallway being some sort of evil supercomputer that's emanating red light (it could be really cool) It would also be nice to see some additional modeling detail. Look at some concepts of sci-fi architecture. check out…
Carl! crashed.. so I will take it as a sign to be concise. ( and try to ignore marxism after the birth of nationalism... and other tangents ) Unlike the luddites we still suffer with to this day... weekends come and weekends go huh? y'know its sad but I saved my 666th post for this one :D I think that I have the bottom half of her finished now, aside from a holster and a few grenades ( should be interesting to see what I can come up with thats interesting form the Q3 Arena ones) the boxes at the bottom of the skates…
You should wait the next generation of graphic card. AMD and Nvidia should release a new generation this summer. Also a lot recommend the GTX 970 but this card has 3.5 Gb of memory this is weak for GPU computing, also the AMD card if OpenCL is supported are much more powerful for this task. For example the R9 390 has 8 Gb…
This is a great idea, but I think having images for every linked thread makes it feel really cluttered (maybe just do one per-game?). Also I'd sort them alphabetically. Modo is a bit strange when it comes to performance, especially with Advanced GL viewport mode. For instance, I used Modo before with both a GTX 660 and 650 (both were desktop versions and had 2gb vram). The 660 had no problems, but the 650 could barely handle even the simplest of scenes.
I agree with above. I had a ATI card I believe the 5870 and I had problems with it, from drivers to just performance issues. I went with a gtx 680 and its been amazing. I think you should get either a 580, 660, 670 or 680. Just my opinion. Good luck!
I tried hard to find a single DDR4 16GB non-ECC module but no luck. I think I will go with 2x8GB and upgrade later to 32GB kit (when they become cheaper). Ok, i hope it is. :) I won't upgrade in the next 2 years I'm going to save money on RAM buying 2x8 kit. Does it matter for PS/Zb which i5 to buy? Price difference…
