FYI thats a importer not an exporter. Heres a pretty good site I found with some tutorials on setting up a simple tower defense style map. www.sc2galexyeditor.com If anyone has a good link to info on setting up triggers and scripting please send my way.
Yea, fr0gg1e, bridge isn't working. It keeps going to the bottom view even though I removed that hotkey (b) from the bottom viewport. I don't know the whole macro script thing so I would appreciate it if you could help me.
i use this free mel script for my shelf from highend3d... http://www.highend3d.com/maya/downloads/mel_scripts/texturing/Keegan-reloadTexture-3379.html there are even a few others if you think you need more options. in this way 3d studio max rocks.
We have it built into ETQW. Works fairly well especially around wrists and shoulders. Noticeably better volume is kept. And if I remember right, I think someone said there was a script or tweak you could do in Maya to use that. I might be mistaken though.
Ok. You proabably aware about this problem in Max its very popular request, but for some reason almoust no one still haven't solved this issue and those who solved want you to pay them money for that solution. I think its not fair that you should pay something for stuff that should be there by default. Which is why I…
Thanks. currently, FiberShop can export generated hairs as 3D meshes and you can convert these meshes to curves with some free scripts that are available on the internet. In the next updates, we'll add an option for exporting hairs as curves. most of the works already done for this :)
I'm glad to help! Isn't that an incredibly elegant script with that makeshift fancy Bookmark button auto-click and everything? I should note I've been using it for a couple of weeks without issues, but don't hesitate to let me know if anything breaks.
In 3dsmax textools script you can set a base real-world measurement to texel res: i.e - 1m2 = 128x128, and then use the tool to set the uvs to each asset. Also, building things to a set grid is very important for efficient assembly/snapping.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this although it lacks imprecision and polish in a few bits. I think even in the Sony/marvel movies they use ''physics'' and momentum based scripts to help with the swinging part. I'm curious as to where did you get the city model?
Oooh, if anyone's interested, a little while back I made a little script for photoshop that creates an isometric grid and bundled it with some brushes. It might be good for someone just getting started. You can get it here (it's free) https://gum.co/mjpc
