Do you mean Borg as in Star Trek Borg? If so, it doesn't look very Borg - hair, covered mouth, symmetry, cleanish lines on the armour. Nice model though
Hi All, Anyone know where to find good texturing tutorials? I mean more for characters (i.e. skin, armour, scales, leather, cloth etc) than the usual wood and metal environment stuff. Cheers, Justin
Blocking out armour pieces randomly in Maya - kind of a modelling experiment at this stage, pretty keen to just throw it all into Zbrush and see what happens.
Haven't made any progress on the texture since (intimidating...), but I did get these 'enemy' designs presentable. They will have clothing/armour and weapons, though. Hopefully.
This looks pretty nice ^^ I kind of feel the material could use more spec and less gloss. The armour feels sort of plastic-ish but maybe that is just because of the lighting setting
don't a bit of texturing today, mainly wheels/side armour/tracks and some small bits to figure out some stuff. So posting it, in case anyone has some feedback.
Hey, I'm loving the 6th one, especially the armour you gave her. Also digging the way you drew her hair in the 8th one! Can't wait to see the results <:
This is great, the armour has a very Darksiders feel to it. I think her abs look a little un-natural (like she's sucking her stomach in permanently), but other than that it's great!
I'm pretty sure I'm going to see these eyes moment before I die. Anyway, awesome concept Conte :) . That skirt reminds me somehow of Ordinator Armour from Morrowind.
jzero: Google search for "armour girl" in the domain "http://dynamic.gamespy.com" brings up this rather nice page: http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~polycount/ubb/Forum2/HTML/009066.html?00052 Enjoy
