I'm with Vig on this one. I really can't imagine anyone on a game related forum not having watched starwars, and having the balls to make a thread about it. Although you never know with young kids today. No values.
http://boards.polycount.net/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=215955&an=0&page=0#Post215955 related perhaps? **edit. guess I should read the posts first. Alergic reactions and food posioning. A little different.. oops
I have a question related to this topic. How many of you registered with the Digital-Tutor website for tutorials? Annually I mean. Or is it even worth for self learners to signing up for them. http://www.digitaltutors.com/09/students.php
something good for game related texturing and rigging for max would be nice too :D I have stop staring, I'd like to think it should be standard reading for any artist/animator, not just 3d artists.
Yeah, those news suck so much. I would have thought that at least the studios related to the Lion King, whatever the critics and fans may say, would at least be doing financially good, given the magnitude of that IP.
Great to see the design tested out like that on a game screenshot. Very smart :) On a related note, dota_camera_distance in the console lets you get a little closer. But of course it might distort the character because of the FOV, so that's to be used carefully.
Funny to see this thread here, as I just baked an interesting book project on kickstarter talking about something related to this topic. 20 dollars VERY WELL spent, IMO. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stephenmccranie/brick-by-brick
Common sense also helps. Number of instructions is a reasonable metric when judging how complex a material is; but it's not an exact science. Instruction count is not directly related to speed/efficiency as some instructions are considerably faster to handle than others.
I got one of the first i7 mbps, powerful thing and it could cook an egg too :) But yeah they're underpowered in relation to their price tag, with the same amount of money you could get a beast of a machine and install hackintosh on that
In general you add Programms to the list like 3dsmax,Photoshop etc. for which you want the services disabled. If one of the programs in the list is running it will shut down wisptis and all (known) windows tablet pc related services
