Neat, but I'm confused by all the tentacles. Are they supposed to be from a monster, or like decorative statues or what? The giant ones in the backgrorund look like the kraken is trying to sink the town, but the ones in the foreground don't seem to be coming from a water source, but they also don't really look like statues. -

About the statues: Maybe just scrap the wireframes and instead show the renders you already have, in addition to a couple shots in-game. I remember those statues specifically in game, and I thought they looked pretty cool. Looking good I didn't know you worked on Stubbs! -

Progress on the statue. Total time on this is 5-ish hours. Will need to go in and do cleanup on hands to make them more chiseled etc. Probably still need some edge cleanup. This will be a macro normal with a tiling rock detail normal to do the fine grain on the statue...most likely.... -

Got a statue of happiness statue :D microsoft had a couple cute girls in semi cop uniforms asking questions, taking mugshots and handing out prizes. mostly tshirts. I grabbed something that would sit in a corner cause it was too small. -

Tejay : I agree with your choice , and keeps with the idea of a more natural enviroment, but adding more architecture wich helps a lot the visual narrative , the only minor concern I have is with the statue , I dont know how many people will feel comfortable modeling statues then again this is a challenge. -

looks great in detail..but the proportions are not dynamic like the statue...Id say he needs more badassness..Give his body a tweak on the old verts, and maybe give him proportions more like the guy in the statue and less like a wimpy scientist..no offense . Great work regardless Dave -

Hey, update on this today :) finished up the zbrush statue, well the base figure anyway. All i need to do now for HD is cut in some construction blocks all around it to give it the appearance of metal work and welding in areas and just general blocks put together to make super-massive statues.
