why can't I have vertical split screen instead of a horizontal one for co-op? On an HDTV that would give you two nicely proportioned square screens instead of the thin and disorientating horizontal screens. Is that something that could be corrected with a patch or am I just screwed? -

with the caveat that a decal is almost always the most expensive option... What you should do is entirely dependent on context Assuming you add a second material to the mesh, if you have 4 of these things on screen you introduce 4 extra draw calls - which is not very many if you have 100 of these things on screen you… -

also, something slight, but having a massive button on the top screen for "credits" is a total waste of UI, unless you desperately need for people to see your name, this can be easily relegated to the settings screens. Actually come to think of it, theres no credits screen on any of my studios apps... -

To begin with, a cintiq monitor for a main monitor is a terrible idea. It's not made to be a screen it's mean to be a drawing tool. It's like an ipad screen, it heavy on the eye. It's fine if it's your second screen at work for example, but i wouldn't recommend it at all at home. I'm nowhere specialist so that could be… -

Awesome link radiancef0rge! Did a bit more research and apparently LCD screen have these polarizing screens on em as well. So for the DIY'ers out there.. you could take apart your old broken LCD screen. I got one laying around that doesn't work anymore. Will experiment with that. =] -

Dekard: Depends on the laptop screen, but that might look really ass. Some laptops - LCD screens I think - scale the lower resolutions to fit in the screen size... resulting in doubled and blurred pixels. It is a bit silly that software won't actually work AT ALL in certain resolutions... is there any good reason for it?
