I would love to finish the Iron Giant but I can barely even open the file anymore. and any 1 process (i.e. append to polygon tool) could take anywhere up to 10 minutes to load. I can't find a solution  Trying to open it now so I can take better screenshots
Hey, Acord, first thing that comes to mind is that most of your work appears to be very dark and hard to read. Backgrounds etc on your thumbnails are very busy too. A neutral gray background and better lighting (3 light) would help your props imo. Lots of stuff there, just let us have a clearer look!
You can shift the stone materials to a more neutral gray to reduce the brown tone a bit. Adding the greenery along the roof will also help add some color variety. I'd expect the rails and bannister to be black wrought iron, although that might be a bit too much contrast for the scene.
I missed that part too *Parents, or possibly people she took care of when they were younger? Stranger still.. Even with them(*) being entombed in melted glass, the insulin girl was still vulnerable to a bite. However, if it's a panel of glass between a zombie & Abraham / Sasha .. they're safe
I see what you are saying. I somtimes forget that I am not going to be that close to my model. It just hurt seeing all the detail in zbrush being dumbdown. I will redo the UV and get back when that is down ( I hate doing UV also retopo)
Neither. These dealers don't determine if people like or care about your work. You could be unhappy (or neutral) that people are sending these messages at all, but you shouldn't let other people affect you too much. Just keep learning, improving, and gaining confidence in your own work. :)
By the looks of it, you'd be best having a combination of a grey/blue Skybox, changing your Environment Colour to Blue [View > World Properties > Lightmass > Environment Colour] and altering your fog to a more of a neutral grey. The Environment Colour should change the hue of your shadows to better contrast the warm…
One thing that really stands out to me, is the blue cast from the photos. You should figure out how to level that out, or using hue variation and color ballance, take the colors to a more neutral. Nothing wrong with using photos, but you don't want them to scream photo.
It looks brilliant, but Tank Girl has such a distinctive appearance that comes through her facial expressions and suchlike that it's kinda hard to tell its her with such a neutral expression on her face. That said, it looks fucking awesome. Brings back fond memories of the old Q3A TankGirl model with the rocket-bra :) .
Hello, I really need help at this point. I am texturing a water-tank and when exporting occlusion map from Zbrush multimap exporter outer edges are stretching it's ambient map while Normal maps are coming fine. How can I get the occlusion map how I am getting the Normal.. Please someone suggest.
