Made my edits with the second draft. A lot of it is clarification and wording on the more important parts of the short story such as the scar and Renekton's condition with some grammar fixes. Third Draft Word count: 996 words
Low poly done; I know the polycount is high for an object like this. Normally it would have a 256 texture and maybe like 500 tris but this is just hardsurface practise for me :) Fixing the bake tonight
Oops! Yeah 4X is what I meant not the 8X I mentioned earlier. You want to down sample 4 pixels into 1 pixel, so a 256 result would require a 1024 bake.

there is never a need for 2 1024's blurry is not solved by the map size its done by photoshop skills, the best maps ive seen have been done on 512 and even 256, think about it
Thanks. I modeled the Rocket Launcher. It currently has 1006 tris but I have not optimized it yet. The Assualt Rifle is made up of 996 tris. Letme know what you think. Alex
eVGA is an awesome brand. I own the 5200 FX and its fine. Of course why in gods good name would you want to even attempt doom3 on a 950 athlon anyway. Get the 5200.
