Hey Adam, How did you get the hair that you painted in Zbrush to transfer over to photoshop? Did you just repaint the hair and eyebrows in Photoshop? Really great time-lapse! Thanks
Ya projection cages are something I see mention of quite a bit on these boards but don't fully understand, is that a Max thing? In maya, when I use the transfer maps, I bake with an envelope; Is that the "cage"?
thanks a lot very helpfull ... Btw My plan is to export the model from Zbrush to load in xnormal , woudl it be able to transfer also all the new extra data added throught HD subdivisions?
I tried to transfer my GZ save but i got a "No save detected" error. Sad panda, especially considering I had a run in GZ where I extracted every solider on the base :(
I'm looking into creating a spreadsheet for everyone to fill out since it looks like we lost a lot of data on the transfer. I'm holding out a little to see if there's something we can do to recover it.
The only reason I projected onto the dynameshed object is because it had poly paint and dynameshing destroyed the poly paint, so I used project to transfer the poly paint. Is there a better way to do this?
You can use a full white material, and do edit>convert to file texture in the Hypergraph for a speedy bake with no padding. Or use Transfer Maps, bake diffuse for a bake with padding. (again with the white material)
OMG racer you scare me with how good your renders look dude. On an unrelated topic, I must get down to R&D to see how that "Talent transfer Lazer" is getting on >.>
No! Not yet at least, get some bevels and more interesting shapes there. Put more detail in there, have some fun with it :) Also must of your edges is to sharp and need softening to transfer well into the normal map.
yeah Pior, my Cloud saves aren't transferring.. makes it useless. I've played the beginning twice over because of this, and it's frustrating. I just want to continue my game between here and work.
